Sep 8, 2008 - I love St. Anger too but as far as musics go Megadeth has always been VERY progessive. They step it up every album. Metallica is awesome too but Dave and Deth' has proven many years ago that they are just as good. I'm not knocking Metallica but Metallica has hit a certain level of playing since James went to Rehab. I give him credit for trying to get himself better but Megadeth has past them with Rust in peace. Metallica has a totally different sound since the black album. Dave is on his game.

No disrespect but Megadeth always seems to have something that makes you go..."Damn,..did you hear that!". Death Magnetic is good. I've heard the whole album and it lets you know they still have it but Dave has been a step ahead since Rust in Peace. Dave Mustaine was branded a loser by all Metallica fans years ago but he remains the driving force of a serious band!

Alot of the stuff has been abominable. i know this is a bit biased because all around i like Megadeth more but you know this is horrible. I am not really liking death magnetic so far but I've only heard one song let's hope this is their redemption. I didn't like st.anger at all.

Megadeth and Metallica are both not thrash anymore. both bands are more speed metal and heavy metal with few thrash elements. both kick ass.
